My car is finally fixed. It took a new wiper motor. I probably turned in a good motor when I bought the used one back in August. Now Iapos;ve spent a on of money when all that was probably wrong was the broken wire. Maybe it will keep going now.
My class is having another get-together this weekend. I have to be in Columbus early Sunday, so canapos;t stay overnight on Saturday like last time. Faith may go along this time, that is, if I commit to going, which I havenapos;t yet. Itapos;s a long drive for a short meeting.
I volunteered to ride bicycle escort for the Columbus Marathon Sunday. I hope I donapos;t get a really fast racer to escort, because some of these guys can go faster than me. The top hand-crank racers finish in about an hour. I can do 26 mi. In about an hour forty. I also hope it doesnapos;t rain, apos;cause that would suck.
Faith fixed a nice omelet this morning, then I had to hustle over to election official training. That was pretty boring, but they always change a few things, so necessary. But it would be nice to have a cheat-sheet to tell what changed without having to study it all again. Itapos;s not that hard. Except for the hours: 6a - 8:30p +. Iapos;m hoping a lot of people will take advantage of the absentee or Vets Memorial options. Precinct polling places are becoming an anachronism. And voting machines arenapos;t helping things. The instructor said they wonapos;t enforce any time limits, and people are notoriously unprepared when they go to vote. With all the issues there will be lines.
